Peponi school trip to Kipipiri

On the weekend of January 19th 2013 a group of brave students from Peponi school went up to Kipipiri. Blessed with amazing weather, 22 students made the summit just after midday. Their journey back down however was thwarted by a male elephant. After an 3 shots were fired the group decided to come down an alternative route down a knife edge ridge past Mawingo (clouds) and back to the main road where they were pick up.
